Pastor Joe Rollins
I grew up in Greenville and have always had a love for the people of Greenville. I was raised in a pastor’s home but did not become a committed follower of Christ until my freshmen year of college. I am a graduate of Furman University (BS in Chemistry, 1986) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, 1989).
While in New Orleans I met the love of my life, Johnette Sherrill, and married her. Johnette and I have three children: Kelsey who is a sophomore at North Greenville University, Caitlin who is a senior at Southside Christian School and Calvin who is an eighth grader at Southside Christian. Johnette teaches fifth grade language arts at Southside.
My prayer for Sanctuary is that we will become a body of radical followers of Jesus Christ giving our lives for his glory and that others might know him.
