Our Core Beliefs
Sanctuary exists to know God and to make Him known to the area of Greenville and beyond.

God
God exists eternally as one God in three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of the universe. God is perfect in all of His being. To Him we owe all love, honor and obedience.

The Bible
The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. It is God’s revelation of Himself and His ways to people. It is the inerrant and authoritative standard by which all human conduct, creeds and opinions are to be tried. The Bible is central to our fellowship as believers in Jesus Christ.

Salvation
Mankind was created in the image of God to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. Through the sin of Adam in the Garden all of mankind became sinful and subsequently do sin. Sin has alienated us from God. God provided His own Son Jesus Christ as an offering for our sins. Salvation comes only through repentance of our sins and faith in the work of Jesus on the cross. It is a sovereign work of God’s grace, apart from good works.

Church Membership
The church is composed of baptized believers who have joined together in a local assembly. It is a loving and forgiving fellowship where believers grow together in the grace and knowledge of the Lord. Every true believer should be a member of a local church.
